Thank you very much! That solved all three issues I was having.

I did not use the Loco Translate plugin. When using the customizing the job application flow link you provided, I was able to change everything. The ‘Apply Now’ text is changed with the URL addition and also the other issue that had come up with the client was that using the “apply now” or website link that came up, it was not opening in a new tab until making this .PHP modification.

So far, the plugin rocks… with the exception of the logo situation. Thanks for the help!

The browser was not logged in for syncing or handing off. It is a new system. In fact, it isn’t my computer. It was my daughters laptop.

I was not logged in to any of my accounts on the computer or the browser. The only thing that would be connected is our network.

I’m a big security and privacy person, and do not do any cloud services or syncing like that.

The strange part is it did it a number of times and then timed itself out.

The email address used for my admin account in WordPress is not a personal account and is not attached to a service like Gmail or anything of that nature. It is an account through my hosting service. And to further the mystery, the login for my WordPress is a unique 15+ character username (never saved on the laptop in question).

Just tested it on two other computers and it did not do it with them. Very strange!

Your comment eventually made me remember that the Pre-Guttenburg editor did in fact have a most used selection option! Downloaded the “Classic Editor” plugin and it is back!

So unfortunately, that’s not what I am looking for.

To clarify, the previous plugin I had used a while back had a toggle arrow that would show all the most popular tags used on the site. It was not a drop down selection menu.

So imagine a tag cloud in the admin section that you could click multiple tags.

Simple Tags and the default wordpress tag tool show a drop down menu where only a single tag can be selected. At that point it’s just faster to type it all out than to wait for the dropdown and select.

Unless I am missing something, I do not see a multiple tag selection tool by default or within the Simple Tag plugin.

Same issues, even after the latest updates to WordPress 5.3

Deactivate JetPack

I just started encountering this issue.

When I deactivate JetPack 4.5 the images will upload properly. Otherwise they will through an error if JetPack plugin is enabled. This is definitely an issue around the JetPack plugin.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find the appropriate fix for it. ?? I am subscribing to this thread in hopes that someone comes up with one soon!

Just a side note, I am using this theme because it came pre-setup. I like some of the MH Themes better, however they didn’t have a way to import the widget locations, etc for the setup and seemed like a lot of premium plugins were required for the themes. Is this accurate? Please let me know before I get too involved with this particular theme as I really do like the MH products, but can’t afford to pay for the plugins in addition to a paid theme at the moment.

Very helpful, however I am having trouble. I am trying to remove the hover colors all together. I don’t want to have a hover color and I want all the other box colors to be a custom color, say, light grey or something of that nature, or maybe a very light green. Haven’t decided.

I don’t know how to manipulate the code to remove the hover colors for the boxes.
I am using a plugin for this so that I don’t lose the changes should the theme be upgraded. The plugin I am using is “Custom CSS”.

ThemeSumo, You can’t miss the bright colored boxes all over the page. All the boxes have colors and each time you hover over an item it becomes colorized as well. The worse part is that they seem to randomize colors on the sliders.

Disregard, I figured it out.
I had to add this to my header.php file

<div id=”header”onclick=”location.href='<?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?>’;” style=”cursor: pointer;”>

Then it started linking, but the tab would not show a title of the page, instead showed a url. Went back to the customize theme area, site identity, and inserted the site name to the TAGLINE box instead of the site title. If added to site title, it would overlay a CSS text title over my header logo.

Tried this, for whatever reason this is not working for me. The content will not update regardless of where I attempt to edit it.

I have done that and some of the excerpts are still showing the titles of the related posts.

The bolded area is NOT just the related post, it seems to be putting everything from that post in the excerpt of a completely separate post.

I want to add:

If I change the excerpt size from 100 words to say 50 words, it eliminates the problem, but because a lot of my blogs are low word count and include videos, I don’t want to reduce the excerpt count so low nothing shows on the homepage.
