I tried this, but, the size is near about as compared to the standard size.

Nevertheless, i’ll try Gimp tool to accomplish this.

@electricfeet: May be because of slow connection, loading time of site was more, that’s why logo took time.

This snippet resolved that “Back home” text problem. Now, after clearing the cache, means a fresh page, it displays a square type box of image and then suddenly logo come up.

I’m not able to understand why recently this back home text came up?

I’m not sure, why do you want this. Right now, queue behavior exists and i guess stack behavior will be good if the slides are more than 10.

Ideally, the number should not be more. If slides are more, then, acc. to me, it would be like linking all the pages to single page. I may be wrong also. But the customer may feel very lengthy content of slides is there. 5 is perfect.

Size of the slider means? Is it the height of the slider? For more info on carousel (slider), refer carousel part.

Functions.php is empty because you’ve installed the child theme, and in child theme, functions.php and style.css comes empty, so that you can override the parent theme or you can make changes on top of parent theme.

If you want to edit it, go to appearance->editor. If you’ve activated your child theme, then you would be able to see style.css page opened by default. If you need to edit functions.php, then on the right side click on functions.php and edit it.

Are you using child theme? If so, did you edit something in child theme functions.php which caused the site to show blank.

If not, did u tried to edit the core theme i.e. parent theme functions.php , because ideally website shows blank if there is a problem in functions.php.

I can’t say whether it is a plugin conflict or not.

Could you do one thing, just create a sample page name ‘A’ and try to edit and update it, then, analyze is it updating or not.

Ideally, when you click on customize, it shows a vertical menu in the left sidebar and to the right it shows a preview of your homepage. Could you post a screenshot of the customize window.
