I have done as you requested, with screen shots.

So, problem NOT fixed.

I have the same issue. This is a show stopper; cannot use the plugin

until “hits” can be hidden on user-visible pages.

It would be OK if only admin users, or nobody, saw them.
The problem is when they first show, new posts have low hits, and that discourages visitors from reading them. It makes the site appear unpopular.
As an alternative, if there’s a way to fake a hit count and put in a high number, like 4,138, that would help ;^)

Close this item. 1) I re-editing and reposted all 300+ quotes.
2) I checked box saying I did NOT have 366
3) I switched from selecting categories to All Categories.
Daily quote now showing on every page atop sidebar, as it should.

Correction/Addition: the quote box DOES APPEAR on one page.

It is the only page displaying a wp1 slider in the main LHS panel – as well as the standard RHS sidebar. The quote appears there atop the sidebar (as it should) on this page ONLY. All other pages do NOT display the Quote anywhere. All pages, including the working one cited above, have at least a small fragment of text.
