I do hope we can fix this. I live in Portugal. Cool site by the way. Please make sure that your posts have a default language.

To do this, you can go to the post in question, click on:
quick edit, some options will appear, under languages make sure they have the correct languages.

Does it create a problem if you are using the standard version of Elementor Pro compared to the Beta version?

Conditional Language Popups… No Problem.

Create the Popup in your chosen language (EN for this purpose). Set the display conditions.

Create the Alternative Language Popup (PT for this purpose). (Now by default what happens is PolyLang will copy all the settings over to the new popup). Each related popup will display on its linked language.

Now choose whichever popup you do not want to display. For example, EN or PT. In this case PT. Edit the display conditions and remove any conditions that are required for your popup to display. In my case, I had the EN popup on the ENTIRE SITE>>>> I removed this for the PT popup. Magic.

Save and close. Test.

So whats happened is that Elementor/WP/polylang will call the EN Popup for EN and the PT popup for PT.

The basic workflow that I had previously created for this to work is actually way more flexible than I thought.

I double checked this. I can confirm that a border is applied to both languages at the same time regardless if the active/hover/normal is selected. I’ll message David and let him know about it.

No Solution… I have placed this on hold.. If i do find one I will let you know.

You will need a UN and Password for staging… you can send me a mail brad (at) mariselaveludo (dot) fashion and I can setup a UN & PW.

BTW – Testing on my staging site… Disabled all plugins except elementor and elementor pro and its still a problem.

Okay….So I have been fighting with your plugin and others. :)….

On my staging site. BTW… Another problem… In alter HTML use URL replace resulted in an error 500.

I deactivated all plugins. Left All Elementor Related plugins active with Elementor and Elementor Pro. Error 500. Disabled Ele Custom Skins plugin.. WEBP STARTS TO WORK. Changed to Replace tags … WebP WORKS with Ele Custom Skins Plugin. BUT SOME IMAGES DONT LOAD… 404 on images.(Not all, but some)

To access my staging site you need admin permissions… you can send me a mail and I can create UN & PW for you if you like.

BTW… after all this… I tried changing from mingled to separate… Error 500.

Thanks for letting us know about your issue. Could you give us an example of the links that you are referring to? (Are they internal?)

Remember, Polylang itself can change the URL structure of your posts and pages. Our connect plugin does not change the URL structure at all.

Please double check your Polylang URL settings. Also, go to your permalink settings and click save.

Please remember to clear your cache.

I would love to know if you successfully created your language specific popups?

You must only set the conditions for the popup of the language you want to display the popup on. So effectively, the default lang template is the beginning.. I dont know the coder/developer words, but I think that template “registers” within Elementor Pro and Poly…. Then the 2nd lang (or lang that you want to display the popup) gets the triggers applied to that template only…

If you get it to work, then we will have to update our docs so that users can set displays and triggers on whatever lang templates they choose.

This for me, is all a grey area and testing and learning on the way, so thanks for your patience!
