I actually did a whole test with popups recently and the compatibility with RTL. Both work great.

In your case:

Simple solution.. Create the popup in your default lang… DO NOT save any conditions… Create the translated version… setup your conditions… SAVE…

It works, just tested it myself. ??

Is this site in local development?

Are you using Elementor Pro?

I personally have used OceanWp, Astra, but not Generatepress. I now stick to Elementor’s Hello theme as then I have complete control.

Enough about my choices.

I don’t have a Generate Press pro license. So I cannot extensively test this.

PolyLang Connect is designed to use Elementor’s templates. So you would need to create your header and footer templates in Primary Language , save and set conditions. Then create alternative language templates and just click save. Hard work and heavy lifting is all then done by PolyLang Connect.

In Simple CSS,do you have the ability to add alternative languages?

I would like to test your setup and see what feedback I can give you.

I just checked your website. In the front end, the templates are working correctly. Make sure that your browser is not auto translating.

Alex, have you tried to deactivate other plugins? So far we have not run into any odd issues. I am running WP 5.0.3 with latest PolyLang and Latest E Pro. With a bunch of plugins.

If you manage to find the plugin conflict. Please will you feedback to us?

I have literally a few minutes ago created search archive for my production site. So, I searched in default language, blue…. All blue items come up.. Changed to secondary language, search blue. No results. (Truth be told – 1 result did come up but that was because I had not translated that specific term). I then changed to my secondary language. Then in my secondary language I searched for azul (blue in Portuguese) and then the results displayed. The results excluded products in another language.

My process was simple. Created search archive template in primary language. Published. Created translation of above template in alternative language. No display condition’s. I did not alter the search widget in anyway. Elementor standard search widget.

Worked like a charm.
