Sorry for the late reply.

firstly: if Polylang is setup to detect languages, then the user will come onto the site on their own language. If they click on the logo then they will be returned to the homepage in the language that they are in. If they change the language then click on the logo, they will be returned to the home page of the language that they are in.

for the 2nd part of your query, if you built your initial language page to perfection, then created your alternative language page by clicking the plus button, all the styling and setup and everything will be copied across. SO your 2nd language page will look identical to your 1st language page.

BUT: If you created 2 pages; edited the 1st lang page, you would need to go and manually edit the 2nd lang page. This is a Polylang process. (I believe in the paid version of Polylang those changes can be synchronised – but I am not sure).

I don’t see any multi language setup on your site. Please confirm if you have setup multi languages with PolyLang and you would also need to set your default language.

Once this is done, please re-install the plugin and retest.

Its definitely not a server issue. I spun up a fresh WP instance and install sydney and created a page exactly with the same layout.

Added sydney testimonials. Seems to work.

Might be a plugin problem.
