Thanks for thoughts and tips. I think I understand it a little better: Categories might be seen as a top-level form of post classification while Tags refine that classification.

But what about sub-categories? Don’t they exist? Where do they fit in?

Very, very observant of you, Henkholland — yesterday I worked my tail off — pretty much built a WP site from the ground (theme) up and transferred 35 pages of content from a non-WP site! It was exhausting but a great learning experience — WP Boot Camp. ??

To your point, I can see where displaying post time will be important but where do I set that? I looked but couldn’t see.

Actually, I should add a fourth category … blog entries. ?? News, Profiles, App Reviews, Blogs. Four types of posts to accommodate …

Found an Extension called ThemeDreamer … One user comment said it didn’t work with CS4 or WP 2.7+ — which may be the case: developer site says, “Updated for the latest WordPress APIs (version 2.6.5).” (I’ve emailed the developer and asked for clarification.)

Also, Adobe lists it as $60, the developer as $29.95. Free download available.

– What file do I go to edit the width of the columns in a theme?
– I’m presuming I go to header.php to add a new header image. Do you know what part of the file I would edit?
