I got the tip from my host to reinstall WordPress. And their reason is that when i installed WordPress it some how got locked with PHP 4 that was on the server hence the problem because WordPress requires PHP 5.

Anyone had this problem?

I guess the only thing left to do is to try and make a fresh installation tonight.

I got some info from my host.

Hi,

It seems like my host solved the problem but the installation is still a bit unstable… I can now log in but i got the errormessage again when updating a page. After logging in again i managed to update the page without erros… hmm…

My host had problems solving this issue but when changing from PHP 5 to PHP 4 we were able to log in.

Is it true that version 3.0.1 is unstable with PHP 5?

Hello all WordPress users!

This monday i just installled wordpress 3.0.1 successfully and it worked fine for a couple of hours until this 500 error.

Has everybody with this problem solved it? What was the problem? All PHP memory issues?

I’ve tried renaming the current themefolder. Nothing happens.
I’ve only got 2 plgins. All in one seo, and a sitemap plugin. Any known problems with those?

I’ve forwarded the problem to my host who has increased the php memory but the problem remains.

Should i install a previous release? Or what should i do?

The thing is that i’ve already done that so i have my static front page, the “blog”page and some other pages but i also have an intro.html that i would like to show first which in turn will link to the front page.

Maby this explains my problem better =)
