Strange, when i go to check the unresolved topics thread, this question is not listed. Why is that I wonder? is it due to the open/full formatting of the link? What else could I have done wrong?

Same for me, there is No indication that a task is being performed. Or run in the background. I have re applied the same request more than once, which, if what you say about it being slow is correct, that it is working, will probably cause an issue with multiple requests being sent.

How long does it take would be the clear cut, open dry, best seller question? (respectfully)

Thanks for the explanation about the need for updates, and advice about auto-updates. I guess I was hoping for a user’s theory. In 10 yrs of pretending to understand WordPress, I’ve not witnessed similar. So was/still am curious as to why there was so many updates to that plugin.

The problem i have with jetpack, is that is probably knows exactly which plugins can cause conflict, but won’t release the info as it would reduce the attraction of the plugin. I’/m talking about a real list.

The jetpack plugin advices us to talk to “get help” from Jetpack Support, but jetpack support are prescribing generic aspirin-level “help”.

It would take me 2 hours to perform a plug-in audit, and maybe 30 min to replace with an alternate. I’m thinking lightspeed via host, but whatever, wining the GT Metrix Cup is starting to appeal less and less to me because of this stuff anyway.
