Hi,
Could you forward to this email: [email protected] the details of the email received from WordPress about this critical error?
Thanks
Hi,
Regarding our plugin, Bialty uses the
the_content
filter, and in the case of WooCommerce, it also uses other filters for the product gallery images. Therefore, at the moment, it is not possible to add alt tags to related products, posts, the website logo, or images in the sidebar or footer, as these are outside the scope of the filters we use to add alt tags to images. That being said, considering how our plugin works—using either the “focus keyword” or the page title as the “Alt tag” for the image, such as for a product—from an SEO perspective, using the Alt tag of a specific product (its name, in this case) as the Alt tag for other products doesn’t make sense.
This means that using the Alt tag corresponding to a product’s name (via its Meta tag keyword—aka Focus keywords, or the page title) for other products is not a good SEO practice. What matters to search engines is consistency and the reinforcement, through the Alt tag, of a page’s meaning. Diluting this understanding with a specific alt tag for different images other than the original product is not necessarily a good idea.
For example, would it be relevant if, in a Google Images search, these other products appeared for a query related to your initial product?
I hope this information helps you better understand how our plugin and Alt tags work for SEO.
Best regards.

In reply to: [Auto Focus Keyword for SEO] Running out local Hard Drive Space When UsingHi,
Thank you for contacting our support (and sorry for the delay).
We do not understand your issue … Is your website hosted on your computer ? Our plugin does not interact at all with your personal hard drive. It’s really not how it works.
LEt us know if you have more details about this.
Thanks
Alright! We are not from New Zealand.
Regarding our plugin, it is compatible with Rank Math as it was designed to detect sitemaps generated by Rank Math. However, in this case, Rank Math may override our plugin by generating its own virtual robots.txt.
Here’s what you can do:
Since you have already deleted your robots.txt file on your server, it is possible to recreate a virtual robots.txt with our plugin.
- Go to the settings page of our plugin.
- At the bottom of the page, click on “delete settings,” then “save.”
- Once done, uninstall our plugin, clear your cache, then reinstall it.
- Apply your settings, save, and again, clear your cache.
Our plugin should be able to override Rank Math and its own robots.txt feature.
Let us know if this helps.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting our support.
About your issue, just to mention that you have a robots.txt ! However, if you’re not able to see “our” robots.txt file, it means that either our plugin is conficting with another plugin (here, Rank MAth that is also generating a virtual robots.txt file) or our plugin is not comptatible with your website (which seems curently broken to us).
One more thing. Protecting your robots.txt under the Cloudflare firewall may not be a good idea for search engines. It’s actually useless !

Thank you!
About the PRO version, there is a trial version available so that you can test it … and see if it fits your need without paying.
Also, please note that Alt tags are added directly to your code, on frontend (not to the MEDIA library).
Let us know if you need help with this.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for your review … We are a little bit perplex here as … We mention PRO features on the Description page:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bulk-image-alt-text-with-yoast/About PRO features:
- Add Post Title or Image Name as Alt Attribute
- Add alt tag to Woocommerce product pages
- Add website title as Alt tag
- Select pages to “blacklist”
- And more premium features
Also, our plugin is very simple to use. Justs few clicks and … done. That’s why we’ve never had to use a video to explain how it works.
But It could be a good idea !
However, we don’t understand your frustration. This plugin is quite popular and used by thousands of sites. It allows developers to save a considerable amount of time by automatically adding Alt tags. We understand that it does not fully meet your needs, but such a negative review still seems overly harsh.
It is usually better to have suggestions for improvement rather than a negative review that “breaks” all creativity. But oh well… Thanks anyway.Hi,
Thank you for contacting our support.
For this matter, you can use another of our plugins, BIGTA
Hope it helps

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to our support.
Regarding your question about “image file names,” from an SEO perspective, the most crucial element is the ALT attribute assigned to images. This attribute provides information to search engines, helping them understand the image and indirectly associate it with the page’s theme.
Having an appropriate image file name is more of a general best practice on the web and is particularly relevant when using our plugin (although it’s also a part of SEO best practices in general). This is because, depending on how our plugin is used, the ALT tags may not necessarily match the file names.
Here’s why:
Our plugin, Bialty, will inevitably generate entirely different ALT tags for the same images based on the specific information available on the page where the images are used, such as the page title, focus keywords, and more. Using the image file name, even though it’s an option our plugin offers, in these circumstances, is more related to web accessibility than SEO.
With our plugin, there are two “schools” of usage. One prioritizes ALT tags based on where the image is used (independent of its file name), and the other prioritizes web accessibility over SEO by using the image file name as the ALT tag, regardless of where the image is used.
It’s worth noting that there are situations where an image may not necessarily have different meanings, such as in an online store where it’s a product photo. In such cases, the image file name takes precedence because the ALT tag for the image will likely be the same. However, in a corporate-oriented website, where images are more for “decorating” a page, it’s better to use an ALT tag that corresponds to the page’s theme rather than the image file name (as the file name might be very generic or commonplace).
I hope this information helps. Thank you.
