About your question, if you choose to disable or uninstall Bialty plugin, as Alt text are added (and managed) “on-the”go” by this plugin (from post title, Yoast keyword, image name, site name, …), you will loose them instantly.

The best would be to keep it enable on your website as it works continuously with any new page/post.

Better Robots.txt is compatible with Rank Rank plugin. However, as they both create a virtual robots.txt, please make sure to install Better Robots.txt after having installed Rank math plugin !

Also do not use Robots.txt editor (from Rank Math) which could override Better Robots.txt.

About your issue, almost every image in WordPress has a css class. WordPress auto-add css classes to images as well in several cases.

Meaning that it is not exclusively related to Bialty plugin but rather to some incompatibility issues with another plugin. It would require some investigation.

About your question, do you mean, images that have empty Alt attribute or images that does not have alt attribute at all (Alt=) ?

If it’s the first reason, then yes, no problem. Simply select (on setting page) “Empty alt tags” only …

We are very perplex about this issue as these notifications, once dismissed, are not supposed to display again for 4 months (at least).

We would recommend to go to “Better Robots.txt setting page”, click on “Delete settings after uninstall”, uninstall Better Robots.txt then reinstall it. It may help !

About the fact that these notifications appear on top of several other pages, it’s actually not specific to our plugin. It must probably be the case of many others as cache plugin, etc. Meaning that it is not the result of a particular will on our part.

About your sitemaps, if you’re using Better Robots.txt PRO, our plugin will detect your primary sitemap (in this case, Yoast) and add it by default to robots.txt.

In case you need to add a second sitemap, simply go to Better Robots.txt & setting page. Scroll down to “Custom rules (for expert)” section then add this line (ideally at the very top):

sitemap: (our sitemap URL)

First of all, could you please disable cache to check whether it’s Bialty issue or a conflict with cache plugin. It might be the cache minifiying plugin removing alt from certain png/svg images.

Also, ….

By default, the way it works … WordPress adds alt=”” for all images. Bialty plugin looks for image tag “<img”, then looks for alt= and, according to settings defined on setting page, add Alt text (Title page, site name &/or Yoast keyword), whether to replace them or not.

However, if you manually code a page or template file with images or shortcodes which do not include “alt=” attributes then unfortunately, Bialty plugin won’t be able to do the job. Which, we think, is the case here.

How to fix this ?

Make sure to include “alt=” attributes in svg images and any other png image (added manually) so that Bialty plugin can find them and add Alt text (based on your settings).

PS: In the case where Bialty plugin would not have been able to do the job properly, it would have shown empty alt=”” or the default text added by default.

About your issue, we just looked at your website, and all images, including png, svg, jpg have Alt texts (generated by Bialty plugin).

Please check your HTML code, look for “Alt=” and you will find all of them populated by Bialty plugin.

Or is there a specific page where Bialty is not working properly. If so, please provide thess URLs so that we can at this closely.

About your second question, when using Bialty plugin, you can chose between 2 options:

“Replace only missing Alt tags” (so when “Alt=” is empty)
“Replace only already defined Alt tags” (so when “Alt=” is defined with content)

or you can select both options…

Meaning that you can choose to create alt tags only for those missing.

About your issue, there is probably a misundertanding.

You mention that:

– You have trouble with Ads.txt file
– You’re using FREE version

The fact is that FREE version enables ONLY App-ads.txt file feature. Not Ads.txt (as you can see on setting page).

If you want to enable both App-ads.txt and Ads.txt features, you have to upgrade to PRO.
