Thanks, but this is what I’ve been doing, and it really will not take. After changing the date, and I click ‘update’ it just goes back to the old date.

How do I clear the cache afterwards?

Hi, I have had UpdraftPlus Backup plugin for some time now, but only receive from WP – via email – backups of my plugins and of my themes, but nothing else. Is everything else being backed up? I ask because I’ve recently wiped out all my photos in my media library and need to recuperate them because my 2 year-old site is now bare of photos.

Re: Mailchimp Subscrobe SM Premium which I recently bought online. Thanks for fixing the Subscribe form for me, but I need a different heading. So I tried again and selected Template 6, Shortcode 2810, and edited it with the text I want, ‘subscribe to the newsletter’ then put it live. But the text just will not take. You’ll see on my Homepage (where I want it to be, on the right) only shows the outline of the form, no words. I have tried in vain going through several different routes from my dashboard menu, to no avail. How exactly does one get it to ‘take’?

Hi there, I bought online the Mailchimp-subscribe-sm-premium yesterday, and received the link to the Zip file in the email sent to me.
However, when I come to upoad it into my plugin back office page, it won’t let me do it. It just displays all the files within the zip file without letting me upload.
The zip file loses the .zip at the end of its name when I download it into my computer.

Thanks. Image captions back to normal, and you’re right, the image widget wasn’t there, had been bounced off (by what?), so all is back to normal. Thanks very much now I can work (and sleep!) thank goodness you are there.

Meanwhile, concerning the banner image:
Yes, Senses Lite, when I installed it, allowed me to have two photos, one as a banner image with the title and subtitle – that is still there, black and white, but then, underneath the MENU was one of my own pictures stretched to the same length (and width) as the black and white banner image above. It was a photo of a barley field. That’s the one that has vanished (although still in my media library). Then under that barley field was the title Recent Posts. I want to recuperate that front page display with both photos, loved it: the black and white one above the menu, then immediately underneath the menu my picture of the barley field. If you wish I can send to an email account a copy of what it looked like, luckily I kept one. I cqnt upload it here. But I hope this is clearer.

Thanks. Got the captions back via the customizer as you point out, but it’s now provoked two more problems.
1) I’ve lost the header image which came below the black and white one at the top. (I’ve tried to copy paste a capture screen here to show what my ome page looked like before I did this manipulation, but it doesn’t work: the picture underneath was of barley fields. Why isn’t it showing any more?

2) Second problem, can you tell me where to go in CSS to get the captions to be in lower case? They’ve now come back in Upper Case for some reason.

I correct that, I updated to the latest version of Word Press and of Sense Lite (forget the 4.9.5, I was mixing that number up with something else).
I’ve checked in on other forums to get an answer, nothing similar to my problem comes up.
Hope someone answers this, my site looks bad, all image captions gone, in both languages in all posts…
