In reply to: Changing loop.php depending on where it is called fromThanks @prashantvatsh
When I insert it into the PHP, I am now getting both what I want to appear on the homepage plus the latest posts below it.
What am I doing wrong here?

In reply to: Option to change site logo on pages/postsThank you, @t-p, this provided guidance to reach the solution.
This would be the ideal solution no doubt. However, the theme designer somehow coded call to action images and other elements directly into index.php and they for whatever reason will not appear if I set the site to show a page for the homepage. Haven’t been able to fully recreate the homepage visuals by using a page.

In reply to: Syndicate without creating a new postThanks Joy. I have RSS feeds already working from the news site. I was hoping to make the news post feel as if it was part of the community site by displaying the post within a page template using that site’s theme.
I know a lot of RSS syndicators out there are able to duplicate the post into the second WordPress site, but I don’t want a ton of copies taking up space in each WP build.
An ideal solution would be to show the RSS feed on the community site’s page and when a link is clicked instead of going to the news site’s URL it brings in the content of the post and displays it where the feed was on the community site. (Note: I have the same plugins installed on all sites, so any shortcodes in the post body should work on the alternate sites.)
@rozroz you are the best. Solved!
Thanks @rozroz
Can you please provide an example of the custom css I would add to the theme? If I want zero padding around each item, how would that look written?

In reply to: Removing hover link colorIs there anyway to remove all a:hover regardless of menu, widget, post, etc.?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Removing hover link colorAdded in the original message the theme demo.
Look at the menu at top: City Calendar, etc. and the posts in the body. Could CSS be added to change the hover color of those elements?
Then look at the side bar widgets Bike Rental and Library. Remove the gold hover.
Ideally, if it is easier, remove all hover colors.
Also, ex: Calendar at top, I don’t want it to show the visited link color.
