In reply to: Function Help: Home URL for Primary Domain and Sub-DomainThank you for clarifying. The only reason is actually because I thought hard coding it using a WP function was the “best practice” way of doing it.
I will be using the custom menu, though. Thank you again.

In reply to: Function Help: Home URL for Primary Domain and Sub-DomainThank you for the resource!
So rather than using a function, I can simply enter a custom URL in the custom menu?
Out of curiosity, though, is there a function that would also allow me to link to the homepage of the primary domain from the sub-domain?

In reply to: Issue with Pagination on Static Pagesalchymyth – Thank you for the Styling Page-Links resource. That is basically what I am trying to do on the static page. I quickly tested it out on my static page and the URL of page 2 appears as: “domain.com/static/2”.
Do you know if it’s possible to edit the URL of the multi-page so it appears as: “domain.com/static/page-2”?
KaugKo – Thank you for the information about the pagination function. I will look into this more.
Sounds great! I’ll be waiting for the updated version!
Hi Hector,
Thank you for the very quick response!
If you intend to remove Timthumb, could we expect this change in the next plugin update? Is there a timeline for this update?
Also, if you recall, there was the Timthumb security issue that came up last year. Is this plugin secure from such issues that make Timthumb vulnerable?
Hi Hector, I am also experiencing this issue and implemented your suggestions above, but unfortunately I still do not have a space between thumbnail and text. I even experimented by adjusting values, but it still does not give me the space. I am using the most update version of WordPress and this plugin.

In reply to: [New User Approve] [Plugin: New User Approve] User Set PasswordI too am experiencing this. Basically, when a new user registers, the user is able to create their own username and password. After the registration is complete, the new user cannot log in until an admin has approved their account. This is fine.
However, once the admin has approved the new user’s account, the new user receives an email with a completely different password associated with their newly-approved account. Also, this new password overrides the password that the new user originally created.
Is there a way to disable this plugin from setting new passwords for newly-approved users?
I’d prefer for new users to be able to use the password that they set for themselves during registration.

In reply to: [WTI Like Post] [Plugin: WTI Like Post] Changing Thumbs Up ImagesHello, thank you for the quick response. I added my custom image to the plugin image folder. However, when i try to edit the CSS to change the name of the image, it does not update the image on my site. Also, when I edit the CSS for the plugin, it states that the CSS file is inactive. However, the plugin is active. This is the message:
Editing wti-like-post/css/wti_like_post.css (inactive)
Am I editing the wrong CSS file?
Thanks for the response, Hector. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, it still does not work after trying your suggestion.
Sorry to have to revive this thread, but I wanted to ask:
Jeff – Where does one place that code you provided?

In reply to: WWW vs Non-WWW for MultisiteThank you for your response, Ipstenu!
Regarding #1 and your comment about the strange redirects when trying to access admin, I actually experienced something similar in the past on single site. It happened when I changed the site URL to non-www and kept the home URL as www. As soon as I saved the change, I automatically got logged out of admin. When I tried logging back in, it would not let me login, and when I tried visiting the site, I kept receiving an error on my browser for both www and non-www. I would hope that I do not experience that again after I install multisite.
