@fredericktownes Hello Frederick, is there going to be a new w3tc version update please? Mainly because of this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/w3t-breaks-permalinks-uses-p3000-instead?replies=5
… there are some issues with use of .html at permalinks end or trailing slash.
Thank you!I always thought, there is a strong reason why the config side of things of the plugin are so puzzling and unclear. It must be income, logically. Perhaps lots of money and lots of orders, understaffed as well (could explain it perhaps?) I am planing to pay for the support too.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] 0.9.2.1 still BAD -> FTP detailsThanks. I reckon I am going to change for WP Super Cache, it has CDN as well and pretty good forums. Because the new WP release 3.2 is coming up soon and the speed as the main change is mentioned: https://www.ads-software.com/news/2011/05/wordpress-3-2-beta-1/ and with it, like now, W3TC plugin will probably so create new destructions again.
Or I am not sure whether I should use W3TC payed help service vie the plugin’s admin in my WP admin area, because apparently they have fix for it. But they have no any other support it’s rather frustrating.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3T Breaks Permalinks, Uses ?p=3000 insteadThis is why I haven’t updated the plugin because of the permalinks. It is altering main, most important admin WP settings. Frederick has fix apparently but it’s under the plugin paying service help, you can use it via the plugin interface in WP admin. I am considering it. I am not sure whether its developers wait for the new WP update, -> because it was said in WP news release, in the first point among others, that WP will be much faster we wont believe how, here https://www.ads-software.com/news/2011/05/wordpress-3-2-beta-1/ , I cannot wait for it. I’ve noticed many people say they are installing the WP Super Cache plugin instead.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] 0.9.2.1 still BAD -> FTP detailsDo you see the same 0/100 on CSS & JS also when you run the test again on the same webpage in the same browser? When you rerun the test right away a second time.
Hello Frederick, can you please let us know;
Why does the new W3TC plugin version forces sites and blogs adding trailing slash at the end of url’s?
Many people use .html or .php etc. at the end for years. Many sites/blogs also use %postname% instances with no the ending trailing slash.
* Is there a related fix by support if we pay you a support fee you require?? Or how to set this up.
With compliments and anticipation! Thank you.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Issues with recent updateDid anyone try to:
1. Reupload style.css file from a theme back up (for those who do not have styles applied at all now)
2. Reinstal the w3tc plugin (delete current, delete tables, install and set up from start – I do not have a test site I cannot have nowhere try it)I use the plugin but I am glad I saw these forums about the recent problems before I updated! The plugin page says that it’s broken (85 votes). I went to the plugin website there isn’t anything described nor a mention, unless I was blind, wondering why because there are so many people with negative issues. Is it possible that the plugin right now is the way as Frederick intends it to be? Is there any forum post here where Frederick talks about a help or a fix or what to do??
