I have never had this issue myself but I’ll be sure to check how this can happen.
Have you tried re-activating the plugin to see if this fixes it? You said e-mails are sent after each plugin update, so do you receive e-mails throughout the day or only once a day?

I’ve also encountered this issue, it’s a bug in this plugin itself because I tested in on a site that didn’t use any other plugins.

That does fix it since it destroys my session, however I cannot ask my clients to clear their cache everytime (they probably don’t even know how ?? ).

Right now we just don’t use the Rename Login Page feature but it’d be great if you could fix it.

I think a simple redirect should do the trick, so something like

if( logged_in() ) {
header("Location: /wp-admin");
}

should work.

So let’s say my custom login page is example.com/login, and as said I’m using captcha on login form.

When I’m not logged in to my WordPress dashboard I can go to example.com/login in order to login to the dashboard, at this point example.com/wp-admin is blocked and will result in a message saying “Not available.” This al works fine.

BUT if my browser has saved my previous sessions (so I’ve closed my browser without logging out of WordPress) and I’ll go to example.com/login I cannot login since the captcha box is not being displayed but is still required in order to login. At this point going to example.com/wp-admin will show the WordPress dashboard.
