In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Tracking IssuesOk, thank you. Just for future reference it appears that delaying or deferring the loading of Javascript on the pageload is likely what was causing the tracking to fail.

In reply to: https linking from editorWhen you use the link tool to to link within your own site, it creates that link for you.
I actually just figured out that if you go to Settings > General and then update the “WordPress Address (URL)” to include the https, the link tool in the editor will use it.

In reply to: [DoFollow Case by Case] Comment Author Name Problemoh wow, that is really great!
I noticed one other thing that would be very helpful. Could you add a way to say that any links within a certain site can be followed? For example, you can currently set https://abc.com to be followed, but that does not propagate to say https://abc.com/post-title. I would like be able to set any comment link that points within a page of a particular website as followed.

In reply to: [DoFollow Case by Case] Comment Author Name ProblemHi apasionados,
It is a problem because most of the comments on my site are user reviews of the company in my post. Reviewers that link to their own websites have more credibility than ones that do not. If all of the commenters names turn into links and most point to the same url at the post that the comment is on, there is no way to distinguish a commenter who is using his own website versus ones that points back to the post URL.
Addtionally, some of my posts have hundreds (even thousands) of comments. I believe that it could be harmful from an SEO perspective to have hundreds of links on a post pointing back to the same URL as the post.
Lastly, I think it is a bad practice from both a design and usability standpoint to turn commenter names into links that do nothing more than direct the user right back to the place they are already visiting. It is both pointless and confusing.
Your plugin does exactly what I want it to do except for this one problem, which makes it useless for me and probably many others. I would be happy to make a donation if you were able to fix it.

In reply to: [DoFollow Case by Case] Comment Author Name ProblemTo illustrate the problem more clearly. This plugin is converting the comment author’s name into a link that points back to comment link on the page. It is doing this for all comment author names.
I currently have the plugin deactivated but can reactivate it when you are ready to take a look.

In reply to: All in One SEO box disappeared after moving itUnfortunately I never found a way to get it back and had to switch to a different plug-in and transport the data over to it. However, I noticed that after the last WordPress update that the All in One SEO box is now back.

In reply to: Hosting and BackupHi esmi,
I’m using W3 Total Cache, which has sped the site up quite a bit. However, I still experience latency problems around noon everyday. I’m suspecting that it’s a godaddy issue, but I could be wrong. I’ll try the troubleshooting steps you recommend to see if I can isolate it.
Do you have any tips or advice on how to backup a wordpress site? Currently I use godaddy’s backup which overwrites the last backup.

In reply to: Post is redirecting to a 404I got it working by changing the permalink and then changing it back. Thanks for your help!

In reply to: Post is redirecting to a 404This is really strange. I changed the slug but I’m still getting the same behavior: https://www.cardpaymentoptions.com/credit-card-processors/ipayment-review-complaints-and-rating-1/
Event the shortcode isn’t directing to the page: https://www.cardpaymentoptions.com/?p=671
Any thoughts?

In reply to: Post is redirecting to a 404Thank your for the response. If I edit the slug, it will change the whole URL right? That would cause the page to fall out of search unless I 301 it to the new URL (which is an option if I have to do it). Is there a way to just make it function properly without changing the slug?
