  • No, just me. Thanks for the help!

OK, that worked, and it did post the test post to my wall. Here’s the trace. Why did the reset and reconfig work this time when it didn’t work the other times?

OK, did that. By the trace, do you mean all of the diagnostics? I can’t save the table so the fields line up, but here’s what came up in the diagnostics after the reset and reconfig:

Yes, it worked fine until May 13th. My post on May 11th showed up on my FB wall, and my post on the 13th didn’t, and none have since. I haven’t changed any FB settings. I was using a previous version of Wordbooker (1.8.x), so I tried upgrading to the current version to see if it would fix the problem. Obviously, it didn’t.

    Oh, OK. Sorry.

The error is the same as the others got: Wordbooker failed to communicate with Facebook for <my post> : method = stream.publish, error_code = 102 ( The session has been invalidated because the user has changed the password.). Your blog is OK, but Facebook didn’t get the update.

Is that what you mean by support information?

    Hi Steve,

I am having the same problem, and resetting is not fixing it. I’ve tried the next step in the FAQ, deleting Wordbooker from the list of authorized applications and going through the authentication process again, twice now to no avail. I get the same error when I post. I haven’t changed my password, or changed from http to https. I’m using version 1.9.3. Any suggestions?

Aha! I should have realized the problem by the address of the folder in the error message. That’s the address on my old host. Apparently, when I imported the DB from my old host, it changed the address of my uploads folder in Misc Settings. When I changed it back to wp-content/uploads, it worked fine. Thanks for your help!

I succeeded in getting tech support from my old host to repair the DB, and successfully exported the SQL file and imported the posts into my blog. But it seems to have completely overwritten the posts I had made in the meantime, about three months worth. I started copying my blog to wordpress.com a few months ago, so I went there and exported a WXR file of my posts there. when I tried to import that to my hosted blog, I got this error:

Sorry, there has been an error.

Unable to create directory /home2/username/public_html/mydomain.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    What should I do now?

I checked again, and it says the same thing. When I click on wp_posts in the side column, I get this error message.

    Error

    SQL query: Edit

    SHOW INDEX FROM wp_posts ;

    MySQL said: Documentation
#144 – Table ‘./username_mbwp/wp_posts’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

    So am I totally screwed?

    Thread Starter parotnet

    (@parotnet)

I didn’t know I could do that. I just checked, and browse is grayed out, and under collation it says “in use”.

Thanks, Anil! Page Links To did exactly what I needed, and very easily. Saurus, thanks for the suggestion. I tried to insert the code in a couple of places, but couldn’t get it to work. I’m not very knowledgeable about code, so the plug-in was easier for me.

Thanks, Samboli. I uploaded the folder again and it works now. Thanks!
