As you said it’s useful when you have several pages, and you want them to “point” to one single page

That’s what I meant when I said, “I have a specific parent page and want to point all its children pages to the parent page”

I don’t need this feature for all pages, I just need to know if is there a way to hide (and add it manually using WP hooks) or change canonical URL, generated for a page by Slim SEO?

I want to point all paginated pages canonical URL to the first page, and sometimes I have a specific parent page and want to point all its children pages (because I don’t want children pages to get index in search engines) to the parent page.

this problem still exist, is there a way to solve it from functions.php?
