Fixed it. thank you anyway. BTW, you have a bug in your shortcode document. It states:

If you wish to display the List or Detail by default, then use this shortcode like the following:
[ product-catalog id=’x’ starting_layout=’Detail’ ]
but it accept the starting_layout=Detail (without quotes)
