Jason, would you know where I would find log expiry settings on the dashboard? Thank you

I’ve been in live chat with Blue host and they’ve been nice enough to deactivate all plug ins. The guy thought it was the redirection plug in with a very very large log. He said something about resestting the expire log somethings…

Hopefully I will be able to manage…am pretty tech challenged

This is the error I constantly get…
Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

I haven’t but will keep this in mind. Maybe the quote did it. That’s the only thing I ‘copy-paste’ sometimes, or maybe quoted text. Will do it via note pad next time. That makes sense. I wish I was code confident like you. Bow!!

No I didn’t. Is entirely my own post. Drafted it right there.
The only thing that’s changed in the layout is that previously I had the date just under the post title, and the number of comments etc at the bottom. That seems to have got inverted

I can’t thank you enough. You have brought sanity back into my life. Still can’t figure out what happened, but something certainly went wrong.

Don’t know how to switch to the Twenty Ten Theme …

Did that. Deactivated all of them, but the problem persists.

OK deactivated all the plug ins … still inactive but the issue is unresolved. ??

Do you think it could be something to do with Simple Press on BlueHost? Thats the other thing I did

I had the theme cutover by a designer from blogger to WP, so have absolutely no clue about how to switch over to Twenty Ten. Scares the living daylights out of me.
