Chris, it was working yesterday and now is gone. Any suggestions where to look to get it back?

Wouldn’t a better rule be: If a scheduled newsletter hits the que, Mailpoet would look backwards to a post that hasn’t been sent?

TacoVerdo, if you want access to my site, I will give it to you privately. Maybe it will help you figure out what is going on with the post editing problem.

I guess what I would like to know is what direction we should take. Do we disable Yoast until this issue is resolved and if we do, do we lose our meta data in the meanwhile?

How did such an amazing plugin take such a wrong turn? What bothers me is that I am not reading any other posts about the editor slowing down. I thought maybe the theme is the problem but I haven’t had a problem until this plugin was updated.

It acts like auto correct is on but needs to look through 40 billion words before it allow each word to be filled in.

I deleted them. The only post type editor or plugin I have that might affect text would seem to be the latest Yoast. I will go through each plugin and see if there is one that stands out.

Using theme “Responsive” with latest WP.

Are you saying to actually open the file and wipe it clean and save it? I am assuming if there are any updates I will have to do this again.

Also, you mentioned to add a child theme. As far as I know, Pluto is a child theme. Am I setting myself up for problems if I do this change?

I just looked at the page source and found the div handling the footer was colophon so I tried this adding this to the CSS

#colophon{
background-color:#c6c6c6;
}

It changed the footer to a light gray as I expected. I don’t know how to change the font colors. But with a little trial and error, you should be able to figure it out. Hope that helps.

Wow… I don’t know why, but I removed the search from the sidebar and the iPad now works. So it is a theme issue. Thanks again YouTube Embed. Great plugin!

Found the problem. CSS issue.

That makes so much sense now. Thank you again for your help. Your code works perfectly. There are rules about WordPress I am still learning… such as custom css. Otherwise things go bump in the night without explanation.
