I’ve re-activated an then de-activated the cache plugin and for a very short period of time, a instruction window is shown. There are a view things that have to be done manually.
After I’ve done those things the pluging works perfectly again.

A while back we were using the “W3 Total Cache” plugin, but we havent for some time now.
So we have really no idea what caching plugin you are talking about…

After some more testing, I think that the plugin only counts views from users (me and my colleagues) and not visiters.

The URL of the site is: Loodzwaar.com.

I’m not using any cache plugins.
The topic you suggested I already read. That’s where I got the wp_head and wp_foot idea.

Any other suggestions?

It counts views from everybody, is excluding bot views and the display options are all set to “Display to everyone”.

Add this line to wp-config.php:

define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

and then try to activate the plugin again and see if you get the actual error text.

I’ve done this, but I don’t get any error code for my useronline plugin.

Do you have any other plugins of mine installed?

Yes I also have WP-PageNavi installed.

I’v altered it just a little bit, but it does the same thing.

	update_option( posts_per_page, 9 );
} else {
	update_option( posts_per_page, 10 );
}
?>

This only works after I refresh a page. Otherwise the last number of posts is shown.

Any suggestions why this happens or any other suggestens to “fix” my problem?

My question is: “How can I display 9 posts on the first (front) page and 10 posts on all the following?”
