After you gave me a clue I checked the documentation of the UAM, and there it is:

Why am I getting an [L] after the title of posts?

This is an administration hint added to restricted contents and is only shown to users which have the rights to configure the User Access Manager (administrators and so on). This can be deactivated at the settings page.

Okay, the “L” phenomenon manifests itself only when I am logged in as administrator, independent of the browser.

Hm, I just created a “Test” category with full access, it displays without an “[L]”.

When I restrict access to some local group for logged in users, an “[L]” is attached.

I think I could only show you an image of the phenomenon, for you to see this on my site directly I should give you access, and this would be an action I hesitate to do.

I did it !

I used https://researchasahobby.com/responsive-image-clickable-areas-free/

It does not really seem to be supported anymore, but it works.

I installed it (no configuration necessary), removed all <p>s (just a hunch), et voilá … all good, even on the tiniest screen ??

It seems to be a general problem, imagemaps just do not scale, I found it in several places.

I think I have to go with a specific responsive image map plugin …

The image is in <p> tags and the map is in <p> tags, I think.

I removed the closing <p> from the image and the opening <p> from the map, but nothing changes.

I checked it in the page source code in the browser on the mobile, they are removed.

Solved, I added the PHP Snippet widget and used the PHP function instead.

And the Quotes are working as well !!! :-O
