I’ve found that the permalink plugin is still necessary as without it posts can be accessed from /post-id/ when the permalink structure on the site is actually /post-id/post-name/

Would there be any sort of workaround that could get both plugins to work together?

You’re a star; just some feedback, I can’t exclude blogs, when I check the boxes and Save it won’t save, but all the other options work fine.

I’ve had problems with this, my best guess at the moment is like this:

– if person is already registered and logged in when creating the site the plugin works fine

– if person creates the site at the same time as registering for a user account plugin doesn’t work

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong here but on mainblog, blogid ‘1’, I can’t seem to get the post thumbnails generated, whereas as above your fix worked a charm for the sub-blogs. I just checked in the cache folder and there’s definitely nothing in there from today, when I tried out the widget for the mainblog; there are a lot of other images in there though from the sub-blogs.

It could be, if so it’s not every time either of those events happen though, I’ll update here if I ever put my finger right on it.
