Although that fixes the icon it does not stop the new tracking and allows Google to track all of your visitors.

I think this is ridiculous. It has caused me a lot of work. Why is it forcing v3 reCaptcha on us? It should ask after updating if we want to stay with v2 or change to v3.

And also I have had lots of users complaining about spam emails because of this update too! Plus, I do not want my users tracked by Google!

I have been using this plugin for years and this is the first problem with it.

Here is a temporary workaround which I have had to do 13 times because of this!!! I hope this helps you all like it did me until the dev fixes Contact Form 7 (or until I find another alternative plugin).

Step 1 (Get the old version):
Download the old pre-captcha v3 version of Contact Form 7:

Step 2 (Disable new version):
I recommend putting your site in maintenance mode here.
Go to the plugins folder of your wordpress installation via file browser or sftp.
Cut and paste the existing Contact Form 7 folder to your PC as a backup (just in case).

Step 3 (Install old version):
Go to your WordPress site and go to plugins.
Upload the .zip for version 5.0.5
Activate Contact Form 7 5.0.5
At this point your Contact Form 7 setting should all still be saved if all went right.

Step 4 (Recaptcha v2 Keys):
Go to Contact > Integration and set up your reCaptcha v2 keys like you did before.

Step 5 (Test):
Check your contact form(s) are working correctly

Step 6 (Stop it happening again)
If you want, you can install the plugin Easy Updates Manager to block the old version from updating.

Go to Dashboard > Updates Options
Select the Plugins tab
set Contact Form 7 to Blocked

Now Contact Form 7 will not update until you allow it to.

I have just been informed that contact form 7 has integrated this feature already!

It was if you use category=05 or category-“my-category” nothing shows up at all. It is as if it is not recognising sdm_categories.

I have not added the page to my site map or nav bar yet.

All I need is the ability to manage jobs via the dashboard and to display them on the vacancies page allowing for online applications.

The website is still under development but I can provide a login to the plugin author if required.

I tried un-marking all fields as mandatory but again, when you click submit the screen goes white and it doesn’t do anything / redirect to a page or even show an error.

Yes I filled out all fields correctly with my own details and it just shows a white page.

I have tried disabling all other plugins to no effect.

So I can troubleshoot the plugin, where is the code that displays the menu when I click on an item in the navigation bar?

I have spent the last half hour activating all my plugins one at a time and discovered that when I have ‘WordPress Download Manager 2.8.95 by Shaon’ enabled the drop downs do not work and when i disable this plugin they do.

Have only tried with Unite theme.

Can you confirm this on your end?
