Thanks Tia. Hmm. If I use the “importer” that would mean I need to have the same pages, same images, etc,.. set up on the 2nd website same as the 1st theme/website. I guess. I have the 1st theme/website already exactly the way I want it (pages, text, JPGs, forms, etc. everything is perfect… I just want a new theme now. I just thought if I set up the 2nd theme on a totally new folder/website I could set it up and get it perfect before I activate it on the root.

I know where phpMyAdmin is and can see the databases, but not real confident in doing much with them, unless I have step by step instructions.

As a follow up for anyone in the future …

I added a new product after the Product-Display-Catalog to 500px and the new images shows sharp on the main Shop page. For the low rez images for the existing products that were already created…the regenerate thumbs plugin didn’t seem to fix those. I ended up going into each existing product and deleting the Feature Image, deleted from the media gallery too, then re-uploaded that same 500px image and it shows sharp on the Shop page now. Fortunately I only had a few to do.

OK, thanks. Not sure where the setting for how many “categories per row” is. ?? Have to look again for that one.

Thanks again for your expertise Lorro !!

    Hi Lorro
This regenerate process just finally finished and that didn’t fix the low rez images on the main shop page. Should I change all 3 settings (catalog, Single, Product) to 500px ?

I don’t want to run this regenerate thumbs again though…the ISP will send me another nasty email on over usage of CPU.

Wow, this regenerate thumbs is crunching on ALL images everywhere…and now the CPU resource warnings are coming. Is there another plugin that ONLY regenerates the select few images you are messing with ?

    (@paulalford)

This regenerate thumbs is still running (taking forever) so I sure don’t want to do this regenerate again.

So the images on the main SHOP page are the ones I was trying to change to begin with… so I still need to change the other display/product settings to all be 500×500 ? All 3 settings ?

    Catalog
    Single
    Product

Thanks Lorro. Was set to 300×300 for single product (default when installed).. just changed it to 500×500 and check hard crop. Installed regenerate thumbs plugin and now running that.

Will I need to do anything for NEW products I add now ? I plan on keeping the new ones to 500×500 also.

    Thanks for your help !!

So you are saying this error is on them (Facebook) ? Submitting a question like this on FBook is horrible so I will never find out what is wrong if that is the case.

When I go back to that post, and click on Validation Tools – Extracted structured data, I do see this error in there : “Error: Missing required field “entry-title”.

Does this mean something that would prevent it from showing up on FBook ?

I added a checkbox line in my form and the 2 options went grey (text color). The main question is white but 2 options are grey. Is there a “simple” way to make everything (text) white ?

What is the “additional settings” box at the bottom for ? I was hoping to just add a code there to make all text white. Like this:
    text color:#ffffff

I didnt want to mess up the main theme css file. Is editing the theme CSS file the ONLY way to change the text color ?

Ahh, thanks Stacy. That is very nice of you to find that for me.

I did go back and recopied the embed code to Google map and pasted in a “text box” this time…and it now shows. I guess some of these Google Map plugins have some compatibility issues, so just a simple text box works too. The paid theme the7 has a Google map plugin included but it didn’t work in ie9 it seems.

Yes Andrew, that’s why I am here. Havent heard back from them. They are usually pretty good about responding, but sometimes takes a few days and I want to keep it moving.

Well, I take that back… that code moves the text up a pinch…but I changed the 40px all the way to 10px but I still want to move that text up (or move slideshow up) or both.

    Thread Starter paulalford

    (@paulalford)

    Thanks Stacy

    That did the trick.
Now… is there another simple code to raise the slideshow up the page too ?

And if you knew how to get the google map at the bottom showing in IE9…you would REALLY be awesome !! ??

    Hi SloKenny

Where are you missing the steps? You go to Appearance-Menu-Links (left hand side) and enter a “#” sign in the URL box. That will create the menu item to add to your actual menu, but it will not be hot.

Still don’t understand, let me know.
