In reply to: Frustrated with WPress – HTML didnt have these issuesThis is major to me too…
All of the Pages with the Gallery template (masonry grid) (which makes 85% of my pages on my whole site) are showing the album pics way too big and not the same as Chrome, Firefox, etc.. number of columns are wrong, everything looks wrong so this is a big deal too.

In reply to: Frustrated with WPress – HTML didnt have these issuesIf you look at my home page in IE9, tab text all mixed up and no map
Click on tabs “Where do sessions take place” and you will see the text and pic overlapping. At least it does on both my desktops in IE9 and Firefox

In reply to: Frustrated with WPress – HTML didnt have these issuesThanks Tejas. That is very kind of you.
The “Home” page, the Google map doesn’t show at all and the tab FAQs are wacked up and the more info links should be blue buttons. Even in Tab/FAQ section, the one with “Where do session take place” – the answer text and pic are overlapping the contact form in IE9, 11 and Firefox but looks fine in Chrome.
The “About Studio” page – the tabs there are again all messed up, no borders showing around the sign up and payment boxes, and map isn’t showing.

The home page is https://paulalfordphotography.com/ and I appreciate any help you can give. I am ready to throw this thing out.

In reply to: [NextGEN Facebook] DeBug issuesThanks js. The username was the trick. I had the username for the managed page, not my regular profile username, and clicked on that help link and took me to the FB page that reminded me of the regular profile username. I published and shared that post and its showing up on FB now so I guess that was the trick. The thumbnail is just showing the correct Featured Image too so that worked too.
I didnt see a link back to that blog page, but I see that the whole banner is hot and clickable to take you back to the actual blog so that is cool too.
Pretty cool plugin !! Now, if you can change the social share buttons in the Admin Edit to just check boxes for all of those…we can just “auto-publish” to all the social things at once and done. ??

In reply to: Site messed up in Firefox Only ?As a follow up to my follow up…my hoster suggested I get rid of W3TC and use WP Super Cache. I did that and seems to be working without any issues.

In reply to: Site messed up in Firefox Only ?** Follow up…
I just deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin and that fixed the site in Firefox…re-activated and its all messed up again… so its some setting in W3 Total Cache that is messing up Firefox only. The other 2 browsers are fine.

In reply to: Disable (1) Parent Link in Menu? Thanks ! I didn’t even think of that. That does work, however, you have to put “something” in the (http:) line so WPress will add that to your menu first, then you can delete the actual link once its in your menu structure. I also found you have to put a “#” in the link blank or it will be live and take you back to the home page (which I didn’t want). I wanted to just KILL the active link to anywhere, which the “#” does.
Thanks for getting me down that road. ??

In reply to: Best Place for Beginner ??Right, yes I realize this place doesn’t sell anything….I am asking folks who are more knowledgeable, experienced, know and familiar with some of the other commercial websites…a place or two who they know has live demos and demo Admin sections to play with to learn.
I will check out the wordoress.tv
Thanks

In reply to: How to STOP attack ?? As we speak…..lol, I love to see people being considerate and sensitive towards others…. ahhhh, good job guys !! We need more of that in the world !! Email is difficult to get a point across sometimes without getting misunderstood, even with techno/geek talk, etc.. Glad to see some people still have manners and think of others feelings. ?? You made my day.

In reply to: How to STOP attack ?? As we speak…..You know…I was just thinking…maybe I need to share this list of 80 attack IPs so the rest of you guys can add them to your IPDeny to save you from these same ones.
I am happy to copy/paste them all here or wherever.

In reply to: How to STOP attack ?? As we speak…..Thanks guys. This was a bit unnerving today. I do have login attempts set to 2, then lockout. I also don’t have an “Admin” user AND I have super hard passwords. I also already have Sucuri installed and running. This brute force attack was the first I have seen/experienced. ALL of the 80 attempts (in span of 10 minutes) were from different IPs. That was the weirdest thing too. The IPs were from all over the world, at least when I searched some of them, that’s what the Lookup said. I got the hosting company involved who changed some things (I am even too afraid to mention here). I think the attack actually came from a different forum (not this one), since I posted a question there, with my website link, and 5 minutes later…wham.
Thanks for all your advice.
