In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Hide Title not workingAh, that put the play button back. Thank you! I made it even smaller by selecting List – Minimal. Great!
The controls still appear at the bottom, but at least the play button is now visible in the post itself. Also, the episode title is back so it must override or ignore the CSS?
The player I referenced earlier does the minimal look better (and keeps the controls in the player itself), but I do like having the fly-out or pop-out player option in Podcast Player too.
Thanks so much. Stellar support.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Hide Title not workingExcellent. The !important did it. Awesome!
I tried the List – Individual and the others, but they no longer look like a player. The other player options bring back the episode title but no play button.
When I click on the title (which is unintuitive), the player appears at the bottom. That’s cool, but I’m looking for a play button in the post itself. Something like this:

That player in the above post does have the title, but it’s nicely embedded in the play area and doesn’t take any space so I didn’t remove it. If your player had a similar option, or at least a size this small with the play controls, that’d be awesome.
I made a test page for Podcast Player. Right now, it’s set to List – Individual:
https://theoverwhelmedbrain.com/podcast-player-testing-page/
As you can see, doesn’t appear to be a player at all.
Grateful for your help.

In reply to: [Podcast Player - Your Podcasting Companion] Hide Title not workingThanks so much. I added the CSS and the episode title disappeared. Thank you!
I tried to do the same with the podcast_title but it would not disappear. So now I just need to remove that. Here’s the code I used:
.single-episode .ppjs__podcast-title {
display: none;
}Should that work?
Also, feature request: allow a small form factor player in posts. Trying to make the player very minimalist and small so it doesn’t take up a lot of real estate.
Thank you!
PaulI love the way your player has the ability to search through the episode titles and descriptions. That is amazing.
I will be upgrading to Pro when you get the Autopost to Article feature so I can replace what I’m using now. I think you’re doing phenomenal work with this plugin.
Thanks for the reply.
Excellent! Your roadmap looks extremely promising. Thanks again for all your efforts. I appreciate your words. ??
This changes my review completely. Updated! Thanks for taking honest criticism and going above and beyond to improve the product instead of getting hurt feelings and telling me to take a hike.
Looking forward to trying out the Pro in the free trial.
Thanks for your communication and hard work. Appreciate it!
Updated plugin and each Gutenberg block is now checked automatically instead of having to click in each block to check it. I’ve updated my review!
Retesting today. The plugin started working again out of the blue. It showed me spelling errors for the first two Gutenberg blocks but I have to click in each one to see the others still. Will do some more testing in a bit.
Thanks for the reply.

5. There were no errors in the error_log file that appeared after updating the plugin. Though, when I open WProofreader Settings, there’s a message in red that says:
“Oooops! Something went wrong. Open browser console for details. For technical assistance contact us at [email protected]”I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, no change.
I’ve turned on the badge, no change. The plugin isn’t seeing any errors (I know there are errors, misspellings, etc).
Please note the plugin was working before this update, now it doesn’t.
Let me know if you need a video. I can record the screen and show you what I’m seeing.
Thanks!
PaulI was excited to read about this update. I have reinstalled the plugin, activated it, and there were no suggestions from the plugin on my blog article. I’ve logged out and back into my blog and made sure no other grammar checkers were on, but it appears the plugin isn’t working at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
PaulLove that you are willing to put the time and effort in to improve upon your design. Looking forward to the changes. I’ve updated my review!
