We did change the way backups are archived.
But as you mention the plugin reports that Zip and Ziparchive should be available, I’ll look into this.
in the meantime would you mind confirming this with your host?
Also, would be great if tou could enable support via the plugin admin page

The file you are referring to is from another plugin, which is a copy of BackUpWordPress.

What version of PHP are you running?

You would put that in a mu-plugin.

This feature isn’t supported at the moment.

Thank you for reporting this issue – and glad you managed to debug it. I suppose you didn’t grab a screenshot or saved those extraneous records somewhere that I could see?
I suspect it might recur at some point, if it does, would you mind taking a copy before removing them. That would help us figure out what happened.

This should be fixed in the latest version.

WordPress relies on this for several features, notably WP Cron tasks.
It’s actually a minority of hosting providers that disable this.
You could try this suggestion:

And if you disable it, does the error go away?

I don’t see how this is related to uploading a file?
