If I remove the shortcode, the right sidebar appears.
at the moment, the shortcode is there, so you don’t see the sidebar
it’s a custom child theme

yes, but his reply was a bit simplistic, saying I should just use the WordPress wp-config cache instead of using a plugin. So not very helpful.
So, I guess I’ll just disable that plugin, because I need the caching

I don’t understand, Page cache and browser cache are enabled in the W3 settings.
Maybe it’s the server? I’m on shared hosting.

I put this in header.php to compress the WordPress files

I disabled cloudflare, but i still get the same results from page speed. so it must be something else.
any ideas?

I did that but it didn’t change anything.
Also, I enabled the minify for CSS but Page Speed still says I should minify.
maybe the Page Speed data is not reliable?

yes, that was the problem. I didn’t pick up the fact that the older versions didn’t have an update notification

thanks JLeuze, should have figured that myself. I’ll try and remove those extra paragraphs.

if I leave the home page title field blank, it add the default title |sitename, but if I enter a value, it adds the vaule to the sitename/site title instead of replacing it with 2010 theme
