In reply to: [Custom Content Type Manager] Lost confidence of author/pluginand WORDPRESS must have “fireproofsocks” identity. what a shame they cant reveal it in these circumstances. I hope his details have been past onto the Police. We need crackdowns on this sort of behaviour, and a name and shame policy so we may avoid this clown in future going forward.

In reply to: [BuddyPress] no thank you@sootsnoot well Id go deeper but its uninstalled now and Ive found a plug-in that suits me (UM) and i purchased all the plugins. For me this solutions rocks cages, it is everything (ok paid) that I wanted and more.

Ive read your comment in full.
My conclusion?
Unfair.. they are obviously hurt by your comment, that’s not a matter of being professional, that’s just human and honest. What isnt professional is your response. They charge because they are a business.. if you want free, good luck to you. I hope it works out. I suspect your site doesn’t draw enough revenue then to warrant the cost. that’s your issue not UM. If you dont like it, thats fine but to mark it down suggests a lack of functionality regarding what they promised. Thats unfair. This plug-in is to me the best plug-in on wordpress. Its shameful the way YOU have voted.

In reply to: [Role Based Help Notes] Pre-sales enqActually Ive played with it and it seems this is not a front end facing tool as I thought. its really for user roles with access to the Admin panel only. If Im incorrect please let me know. If I am correct I think this information needs to come out right at the first statement describing the plug-in.

In reply to: [WP-PageNavi] Settings appears twice inHi thank you for your input, I have managed to narrow it down to a plugin BadgeOS. I got a clue from a google search on the issue and I think one of your guys was able to highlight the problem. It doesnt seem to inhibit any working functionality so Ill just live with it for now.Something to do with a framework clash of versions SCU or similar looking but Im no developer familiar with these tools.

In reply to: [Google App Engine for WordPress] Activating plug-in gives blank pageBuckets I believe apply to storage.
Storage is is in two parts. Application Storage which hosts the MySQL operation files and is closely linked with the instance and then you can link your media files like video and pictures etc, which can be stored in their Storage offerings for which you sign up for separately in the console and later link to your application. My own issue relates to Compute Engine. Ive tried for 7 days to get it working but at the last hurdle something always comes up e.g. Max file size. upladd for my theme. I get as far as editing the php.ini file offline and then hit problems uploading and trying to restart the instance, amongst many many other syntax gremlins in gcloud set up and the discovery of issues and errors all over the place. To be frank the whole thing feels like a beta to me. Its isnt plain sailing and Im thinking of ditching it all together and paying up at a regular vendor for some progress. I dont like Amazon… instance slowness put me off.
