In reply to: Menus and Import Tools not displaying WP 3.0 (MS)Odd… cause they’re still included for Super Admins. Is there some line to remove manually in the core files somewhere I wonder?

In reply to: Menus and Import Tools not displaying WP 3.0 (MS)When talking about menus and imports I’m only referring to users who have their own blogs on the WPMS install.
1. Menus: Gotcha, thanks.
2. Import: But is that the correct functionality for blog imports? Previously on our WPMU site each user could import their old blog posts from other services into their new blog on the WPMU site… but now they aren’t even presented with that options?
What would be the correct work-around this?

In reply to: [Plugin: oEmbed for Comments] oohembed for comments?Yeah, it would make sense that oembed for comments would just be a checkbox to tick off.

In reply to: Pop-up welcome intro image, fade out?Oh, and for anyone following the guide above, make sure to replace the line
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
with
jQuery(document).ready(function($){
Notice the “$” symbol. That’s to keep the usual jQuery “$” shortcut from conflicting with other parts of WordPress code.

In reply to: How to Hide Control Panel Tabs?Yeah, https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/admin-menu-editor/ was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t get the “access level” feature to work correctly though, so I just hid the entire section from everyone (including me).

In reply to: Pop-up welcome intro image, fade out?I’ve been looking for something like this as well. I think this plugin may fulfill the idea:

In reply to: 2.9.2 won’t edit theme files.Ok, I solved it… or at least for me. My plugin version of SimpleModal Contact Form (SMCF) was 1.2.4, just for a lark I deactivated the plugin and then all of a sudden my theme editor was functioning again.
So I reactivated it and updated the plugin to 1.2.5 and the theme editor is functioning properly.
Problem solved. I’ll mark the thread as resolved.

In reply to: Version 3.0 FeaturesI would love to see a photo-gallery-flickr-look-alike thing built into 3.0. I mean, seriously, if I host all my written content on my own blog why can’t have the same power with photos?
Yall do a great job. Keep it up. I’m looking forward to the MU/Buddypress merge.
