hi sorry for not replying earlier, been away
everything is (I think) totally standard but will check
I will try setting up on another site, it must be something I have done somewhere along the line.
Appreciate the feedback.
ThanksSorry if not clear.
It is when the members clicks on the My Bookings page to cancel a booking. All totally standard.It is all perfectly fine if 9 out of 10 bookings.
But as soon as 10 out of 10 bookings are in place the cancel option simply does not appear to anyone that has a booking.I have tried recreating a recurring event. What ever I do I get the same problems.
I’ve done it with 1 place, and when booked it becomes unavailable to cancel by the user.
I have also tried creating a single event with one space. When booked the user does not have the option to cancel. If created with 2 spaces, the first has the option to cancel, but that disapears when the second space is booked.Very confusing.
I can send you screed shots but I dont seem to be able to attach them here.
Thanks for you help
The option to cancel simply doesn’t appear against that booking.
Suppose they had booked several events.
And you go to manage my bookings, they see the normal list of bookings.
The ones that have spaces show cancel against them.
The one that is fully booked doesnt show the cancel option.I can cancel in admin and the event shows with a space.
If someone else then looks at their bookings they would be able to cancel for that event as it is not fully booked.
If that last space is booked, then the cancel option disapears.Hi
If you do find a solution to this, or if there is any chance of this becoming a standard feature, this is something we have a need for.We allow our members to book 2 future events at a time, and occasionally someone will book more.
It would be great to have a limit to the number of future events that can be booked at any time by one registered user.
Thanks
Thanks Marcus – disabled single ticket and now seems to work.
ok thanks – i will start from scratch again. hopefully it is something stupid in what i have done!
i will let you knowHi
Would upgrading solve the problem?
It looks like I am going to have to create 365 individual events, which cant be what was intended.
Has anyone else been able to get recurring events to work and keep working?
thanksHi I am having exactly the same problem with events becoming unavailable for booking.
I’ve read through every reference i can find and I am totally stuck.
What seems to happen is that everything is fine when I create a recurring event with a start date in the future.
So today, 7th July, Icreate an event starting 8th July, daily recurrence until the end of the year. No cut off for bookings.
All fine, bookings work.
At midnight tonight all dates will then be closed for bookings.
If I change the recurring event to start on the 8th, everything will be fine, until the 9th when all events become unavailable again.I have tried all variations of settings I can think would have an impact and I can not change the results – tehy always become unavailable for booking as soon as the first date is in the past.
The events are in a members only section.
Everything seems fine when all events created are in the future.The situation I am trying to manage is for a club that only has 10 bookings available each day. Members can book online. There is no fee / cost. It is just a reservation system.
This event repeats every day
Recurrences span from to 6/7/12 to 14/3/13
Events start from to All day
Each event lasts 1 day(s)
Enable registration for this event = yes
Name = Booking
Price = 0
Spaces = 10
Available from to Left blank but same problem if dates entered
Bookings must order between 1 and 1 spaces.I’ve tried reentering / deleting / changing and I really dont know what else to try
Any ideas ??
Please help !Thanks
