In reply to: [Display Eventbrite Events] No eventsThanks again for your help Alan, I think I’m getting somewhere. Having checked all the things you suggested I have started a 14 day trial of the full version and that is largely woking as expected. Bizarrely, the sidebar widget still returns no events, even when I ensured there was an event for each of my organisations, but I can use the widget view shortcode option and that does the job fine.
Your assistance has been extremely helpful, thank you. A note in the documentation for the free version that if there are multiple organisations all but one will be ignored would have saved me a number of hours of hair tearing!
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Display Eventbrite Events] No eventsThank you for the quick response!
I followed the instructions and it came up with the two events that I expected to see. I’m not sure whether this may be related to the issue, it also gave the following message:
“More than one Organization on this API Key, you may want to filter to a single organization using the organization_id= parameter”
Once I have proof of concept that is exactly what I want to do, so I can have different recurring events showing in different parts of the site, but for now I just want to get them both displaying so I can see the plug-in in action.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Church Center] Strange display on front pageHi
I have done that and it works correctly on the other page (https://www.thornhillbc.org.uk/hub/) so it must be something about our frontpage which kills the formatting.

In reply to: [WP Church Center] Strange display on front pageHi
Many thanks for getting back. The URL of the page is https://www.thornhillbc.org.uk , but as it is the front page of our church website I had to remove the Church Centre shortcode when it didn’t work right. In terms of placement, I am planning to remove the five large picture links to “Community”, “Sundays”, “Small Groups” etc. and place the Church Centre there. Not sure how much you can tell without me putting the shortcode back though?
Many thanks,

In reply to: [WP Church Center] “Back” Button on Card PageApologies for jumping in on someone else’s thread… The fix works a treat but is slightly less flexible than I had hoped. We are planning to use Church Center on two different pages on our site for various reasons, making use of the short-code option for implementation. As this new setting is site wide it will fix one of our instances but break the other. Is there any way of picking up the URL that called a card and making the back arrow dynamically return the user to that page?

In reply to: [WP Church Center] Missing SubtitlesThe page is located here: https://www.thornhillbc.org.uk/hub/
At the moment it’s beta as far as we are concerned and not linked from any other part of the site. Once we go live we plan to move Church Centre over to our front page.Thank you, that seems to have resolved it for now.
