In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Archive for category of custom post typeThanks. I checked my template structure by testing the site with the Twenty Thirteen theme, and these category links do not work correctly there either, so it’s something either with the post type or with the way I am trying to call the archive.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Archive for category of custom post typeI would assume so, and tried that both with and without the two sub-categories being nested under a category named “work” (in addition to the post-type), but no entries are returned. Instead, https://katherinearline.com/bolton/work/brands/ returns just the first project in that category.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Archive for category of custom post typeI have child categories under my custom post type “work”. How do I access their archives?
Can you please remove [resolved] from the title? This is not resolved.
Can anyone follow up on this?
Thanks for your reply. I better-follow this example: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/19913/how-to-create-a-wp-query-that-contains-both-meta-query-and-tax-query and I feel that the author is trying to accomplish the same thing I am, but I don’t follow the last part, “You were right, I left the Field as Slug and then setup a variable with the slug in it and used that. ” Can anyone help me modify that code to work. Again, I just want to display events that are either tagged “featured” or in the event category “featured” (either will work for my purposes, so which ever is easiest will work great.

I’m sorry, I haven’t been able to get what I need from those posts. I want to only display future events in the category called featured. The category ID is 13. I do not want to modify the database scheme. Can anyone help?
