You can go and edit content.php & content-single.php to get rid of this
Look for post-meta section and remove it.

Note – I would suggest you create a child theme and do the modifications so you wont loose your customization when parent theme is updated.

I will try to make this stuff configurable in upcoming version.

remove hiddne-xs class from your header.php logo section (line #106 approx)

add this css to your styles.css

@media (max-width: 767px) { 

    .logo-row div {
        width: 100%;
        text-align: center;
    }

	.header-widget {
		display: inline !important;
	}

	  height:200px;
	}

}

Try this in you styles.css.

.carousel-caption h1 { color: black;}
.carousel-caption p { color: black;}

Please note, its advised that you do your changes in a child theme so you wont loose any future updates by theme.
