Thanks, it was saved in MS-DOS format on my mac but I used my Windows 7 virtual machine and all is well so it does like some weird formatting on the mac.

I have created a .htpasswd file and changed the path in the .htaccess to /passwords/.htpasswd and created a directory in the root of my domain name called passwords . I have also changed the require user from dwc to myusername, wil this effect it at all ?

I added the following code in the Custom CSS scripts and it has changed the colours of the background and the font ?? Not had chance to “smooth it out as they is probably extra code in there but it works ??

Thanks I have tried all of the themes but it stil keeps putting a black background with black text ?? I have even changed the background colour using the css options with the module. My theme is a black theme and that seems to be the problem. The other text is blue and a grey background apart from the recaptcha ??

I have tried reCaptcha and will give it another go as wasnt get as much. Sorry but is it possible to change the text colour on the reCaptcha as it is black text and black background ??

Yes I have turned it on but getting about 9 or 10 posts a day. They are captured by the spam filter but wanted to try and stop the bots from posting at all ??

I then deleted this album and tried to add a new one and it just displays a new one but can save or do anything with it?

or is they another plug in I can use which have the same effcts but can just put it on the main page ?

I have now upgraded manually as well and it let me disable bullet proof security without messing my site up ?? Thanks to all the advise on here to a newbie to wordpress (moved from joomla)

I am currently backing up the site I cant upgrade to try a manual one but my other site upgraded no problems and both are hosted by the same provider. Ok the site I am trying to upgrade has a few more plugins and pages but not that much different ??
