In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Sticky Header RowYes, it’s that page. I’m using plug-in organizer and have the extension plug-in turned off globally and turned on only for that page. Will try turning it on “globally” and see what happens.
I run a lot of plug-ins and some authors make the scripts load on EVERY page so I use the organizer to mitigate for that.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Sticky Header RowThanks Tobias, I tried it and it didn’t work. Nothing happened. I installed the plug-in, cleared all of my caches and shift-reloaded the browser, cleared all files and cookies from my browser.
I wonder if it has to do with cloudflare caching some changed javascript? What additional file(s) should I clear from that cache to see the sticky header?

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Sticky Header RowTobias, will this extension work with multiple tables on the page with different headers?
For example, I could really use sticky headers here:

P.S. I almost never have to ask. I usually find exactly what I need, like this sticky header, with a google search. I’m so glad that this plug-in is so well supported and documented. THANK YOU!!
Well, I removed them from the front-end (admin using the menus) so I don’t know how much help I can be.
Here’s what I know:
-“topics” and “replies” are considered custom post types.
– they can be sorted from admin to view All, Published, and Spam.
– I can either manually mark them as SPAM or Akismet (Jetpack) will mark them automatically.I hope this info helps a little bit.

P.S. In an ideal world, Google would be made aware that Photon is a CDN and that it should not ignore or treat images that are hosted by WordPress/Jetpack any differently.
Thanks Jeremy, that is actually in a recipe plug-in, but I’ll let the plug-in author know about this issue so he can make the needed adjustments.
Thanks!

OK, I found that that since the unsubscribe link is no longer in a sub-directory it is following the rules set for “home” page via Plug-in Organizer. I had “Newsletter” OFF for the homepage (as I do not have a subscription box there) but it affected any page underneath it.
I really wish the un-subscribe link went to its own page (sub-directory) so it’s easier to apply filters from Plug in Organizer (to turn on newsletter) and Cloudflare (to serve un-cached page) to it.

Well, I couldn’t get in to edit my post – but the subject should have been “Jetpack PHOTON”.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Re-set all settings, with latest version?OK, I figured it out. I have to de-activate and un-install the plugin, then re-install and I get a clean slate.

In reply to: [Include Me] The plug-in stopped working for me today..Oops, it works. I was having issues with Plug-in Organizer. When I dis-abled it everything else works!
Scusa,

Nope. I have “30” in there and it’s still showing three lines of text (I wanted to truncate at 2) and leaving blank spots.
Shift-reload the page to defeat the caching and see the latest version.
In the meantime I’m going to work with the style sheet to make the text and line-spacing smaller (text line spaces look to be 150% – and my theme is likely to blame).

Thanks Adrian, as I’m using a free plug-in that you created and update out of the goodness of your heart – I expect a slower response time while you’re busy with your day job. ; )
Hmm.. I started out with “20px” and nothing happened, I’ll try “20” or “30” now.
Thanks!

All of my photos have “artifacts” around the edges and generally look blurry. I just re-activated Photon so you can see the difference.
For example, the first photo here, has artifacts around the wine glass, each spaghetto has artifacts on it, and the meatballs look fuzzy, not sharp…
https://www.hippressurecooking.com/pressure-cooker-meat-balls-in-tomato-sauce/The step-by-step photos displayed in Jetpack Gallery, further down the page, all show round bowls, cookers and choppers with jagged (not smooth) edges.
None of the images on the website are sharp, clean, or losslessly compressed.
If lossless compression not possible, I would rather NOT have any compression at all and only turn it on for image-heavy pages, such as my recipe index:
https://www.hippressurecooking.com/pressure-cooker-recipes/Thanks for taking a look at it.

P.S. In case it matters, I have this code in my theme’s function…
if ( ! isset( $content_width ) ) $content_width = 630;
plus, this to stop all the Jetpack scripts from loading on every page
add_filter( 'jetpack_implode_frontend_css', '__return_false' );
P.S. I forgot to mention that the fact that some of the titles are on 3 rows leaves empty spots in the grid. So, I’m interested to know what number I should enter in the captionheight parameter.
Related bug/feature request: When one has a static page defined as the home page, even though on AIOSEO XML Sitemaps Module the “homepage” is set to a particular frequency and priority, the actual homepage URL does not appear in the sitemap.
