The only thing I had not done in your list was change the theme. I did that and I still had the problem.

I did the search you suggested and got the same sites and solutions I had already seen, nothing new at all.

I tried going to the specific post page and the links were not in the post there.

After going back and forth between the programs page, which is the page that all blog post are displayed, and the specific post page a few times the text links suddenly disappeared.

I spoke too soon. I went back to look one more time before hitting the post button and they are back.

The thing that baffles me is that everyone says they are a browser infection problem. If this is so, they why do they show up on a post that was made from a brand new computer, I mean just days old, and 5 other computers?

Is the offending computer browser putting it in the code that is stored in the database, and if this is the case why doesn’t the link show up on the specific post page?

    It shows up here: https://www.fortressoffaith.org/daily-programs/

    and not here: https://www.fortressoffaith.org/blog/2013/03/20/reflections-on-the-meeting-in-concrete-wa/

This is the paragraph where the first link shows up (it is the word “windows”) : I took a snap shot from my phone of the crowd who came out to hear Kerry Hooks and Shahram Hadian speak on CAIR. The picture does not capture the hundreds in the over flow rooms nor the ones who stood outside in the rain at the windows to listen in. (I was secretly wishing that Churches would have crowds like this to hear the preacher teach about Christ)

I am having a problem with Text-Enhance Links. I have been searching all afternoon looking for a solution.

I only have the problem on https://fortressoffaith.org/daily-programs

I have followed all of the instructions on clearing my browsers of guilty plugins and addons. I use FF.

The problem is showing up on my laptop, a brand new laptop of my son-in-law’s clear across the country, my daughter’s laptop, my Linux box, my son’s computer, and my son-in-law’s computer here at home. We all use FF, but it is also showing up in Chrome and IE.

It seems highly unlikely that all of these browsers on all of these different computers would have been infected at the same time.

I read a dispute on this forum between two arguing about whether or not it is an infestation of WP or a browser problem. Elsewhere I have read that there seems to be some reports of infestation.

Is it possible that both could be true?

I have disabled all of the plugins and addons in FF and removed all of them that I saw no need for and the problem persists.

I have used Quttera Web Malware Scanner to scan the blog and it found no problems.

Can someone please give me some ideas of what else to do?
