Anybody??

UPDATE: Whatever the problem was, it’s DEFINITELY a HostGator problem. They had me convinced that updating to 3.3.1 was the problem, and indeed, the upload worked on 3.3.0 (whatever came before 3.3.1) but wouldn’t work on 3.3.1. Then I remembered that I had been uploading mp4’s all day long, just the day before via 3.3.1. So they started a ticket for me and this morning everything is working.

It’s definitely a HostGator issue. Propellor-heads….

I am! On chat with one of the Junior Gators right now. On W7.

I can upload images, mp3, etc but no mp4’s.

There should be a punishment involving a deserted islan with no trees for propellor-heads that make decisions for other people based on what they think is good for us all.

And ants. And lots of honey involved.

Nevermind. I decided to use one of the cart scripts via Fantastico in my hosting account.

Host says db is fine. Of course every time they try to save/update on their end it works fine.

Now, I tried it on my laptop (same hosting co) and I am able to save/update.

So it looks like something is wonky with my PC. I’ve re-booted several times with no change.

Any ideas what setting or ?? could be “blocking” the save/update action?

Most of that falls under “praying and chanting eastward”!! ??

I’m talking to HostGator as we speak. Have not checked server error thing. I’ll get the HG guy to do that.

FYI: I’m using a script called FlipMeClone BUT of the 20 sites I have only 18 of them were set up with the script. The other two are several years old and they’re exhibiting the same problem. I mention this just in case I don’t know what. The ONLY thing left that they all have in common is the same hosting co.

I’ll be back. Any other thoughts?

Yes’m. Did ALL of that as stated above. What else ya got? Am I the only one having this problem with 3.2.1?
