I thought that the error was only occurring on the front end.
But I’ve just gone in and checked and although it loads the map and seems to function the back end also has several errors.
Mostly failed to load resource 404 errors for the markers

The error is intermittent. Some times there, some times not. The problem only presents itself when first visiting the page, on refreshing the page the duplicates are usually gone.
It doesn’t seem to relate to any particular browser either.

I have changed part of the code to include an email address in the results list but even when I take this change out the problem still randomly persists.
