I contacted my web host service using live chat and they suggested trying my admin url which worked; I had previously bookmarked my blog and when clicked on, it would take me there but the address bar had always just shown mollygortler.com, so I didn’t realize there was a different URL to use for admin. So that was my problem and it’s fixed now. I’m a relative newbie so I’m still not totally up to speed.
