does anyone know how to modify the permissions of “Author” user types to allow embed

Thanks. I can see the WYSIWYG editor on my PC at work. You are correct about Safari though, it does not work.

I’m having the same problem.

Askimet is blocking spam for me each day. Unfortunately it also blocked a comment from a “real life” friend who told me the comment didnt show up. I have no way of finding the comment because the spam is not showing up in my queue.

The askimet FAQ says the comments stay in the database for 15 days. https://akismet.com/faq/ I’ve dumped the wp-comments table and don’t see any spam at all (even though I get spam every day according to the plugin).

Is there a way to fix this?
