Duh, why didn’t I think of that? I’ve been racking my brains out, lol! Thank you so much!!! I appreciate it!

Thank you Alexander. It seems to be working. I read all of the instructions you sent, thank you so much! I don’t really understand everything they say in the instructions, but I like to learn, so I will keep trying to figure it out. ??
I am thinking it may possibly be a local issue, but I am not sure. I submitted my site to browsershots.org to see how it looked in other browsers, and the fonts seem to be displaying in most of them. I forgot to specify above that I am using Firefox 26 with Ubuntu 12.04.
    Thanks again!

Thanks Jefersonbmx… I think it must be my browser /OS combination (Ubuntu 11.04, Firefox) I tested it in browsershots.org, and the icons seem to be visible, for the most part. The sites looks kind of whacky with some of the browser /OS combinations, but for the most part, it looks fine.
Thanks so much for your reply!

What if I wanted to keep the credits where they are, but wanted to word them differently. I would like it like this:

    ? 2012 <a href="https://peninsulavineyard.com/">Peninsula Vineyard</a> | Theme developed by <a href="https://themekraft.com/"> Theme Kraft</a> | Site powered by <a href="https://www.ads-software.com"> WordPress</a>

    Thanks,

OK, I fixed it!!! I followed some directions I found for editing the url in the MyPHP admin area. Yay!
    Lesson learned…

I have no clue what I did… I only know enough to be dangerous, lol! I tried just replacing the child theme and starting over, but it still didn’t work. I ended up just uploading the theme again, as well as the child theme. Thankfully, my pages and the photos, etc, were all still there, except the widgets, which I haven’t done much with anyway. When I enabled the post page, it worked fine after that.
One thing I noticed is that this theme writes to the child theme’s style sheet once you enable the child theme. Is that theme related, or is that something new with WP? My child theme style sheet was only the very basic lines described in WordPress’s instructions on creating a child theme. I haven’t done any modifications to the CSS yet…
    Thanks for your response ??

Thanks so much! I’ll see what I can do. Hopefully, I will be able to properly edit the errors. ??

Ok, I think I fixed the side bar issue. But there are still a lot of errors on validation. The sidebar issue must have had something to do with the text widgets I had inserted there. I removed them, and that fixed the problem. One contained java script for Twitter, generated from their site and pasted into a text box. The other was just an image with the link to our facebook page. I put them into the footer as small icons with links to their respective sites.

I know there are way too many errors to ask for help with, but do you see any major ones that really need immediate attention? Sorry, I know that is a dumb question, but like I said, I’m learning.
    Thanks again!

Well I’ve been looking at all the errors… I’ve not had time to figure out how to fix them yet. I am sure I will have some more questions once I do. I am just curious… what causes all these errors? Could it be from plugins that I installed and ended up having to remove because they caused a fatal error? Or did I do something wrong when I upgraded (I had to do it manually the last 2 upgrades). I have done some CSS editing of the theme, but not that much. It’s mostly been things like changing text, colors, changing header pictures, and stuff like that.
    Thanks!
