Are you Albert? If not, I don’t see your email. Can you post the address or shoot me an email with it?
Hicham,
Did you send an email? I’ll take another look now.
I think I know what is happening. You must have purchased the plugin when we had a brief screw up on the update and another version with the same number came up. The plugin folder uploaded was just completely wrong and we thought we sent everyone that might have received it the correct one.
If you look at your metabox and it doesn’t have the ability to turn off Schema for individual articles/posts, then that’s what is going on.
If it doesn’t look like this picture then that’s your issue.
Enlarge the issue because we don’t allow hotlinks.
Like I offered previously, we can get it working if you shoot us temp creds to the support email [email protected]
Hye linformatiquelabs,
This free version hasn’t really been supported in a while but we are releasing an update soon (hopefully this weekend). Every site is different, but that will likely clear up your issue.
On Yoast, I’ve been meaning to write a blog post about this on the Google News Plugin site because there is really no error with Yoast and the XML New Sitemap.
They just put a function in their new overhauled version to specifically look for other sitemaps and display a false error–presumably in order to get more sales on their own plugin–which is inadequate for several reasons I’m not going to tell them about here.
We are adding a function to remove their message because it’s not accurate. We, and the vast majority of our customers, use both the WordPress Google News Plugin and Yoast with no problems.
Looking into these errors for you and will follow up with you. But at a glance I can see most have been fixed on the latest version. My French is a bit rusty, but the altHeadline was displaying even when there was no value and that’s been fixed.
The url value, if you don’t enter it, will throw an error. But in the meantime I’ll double-check why it is even still firing if you have it unchecked.
Unfortunately, most site themes are not adequately marked up with Schema structured data for your articles to appear highly on Google News. Those that are, aren’t built designed for Google News and will not be featured “In-Depth” or rank highly as is pictured in this screenshots here <–.
Thanks for the suggestions, but we aren’t going to make the sitemap into a free version. We just added several new features, including the options/ability to use multiple genres tags and use images.
Default theme and WP functions re: images, as with the Schema problem, aren’t always sufficient and sometimes Google-bot News gets confused.
On ThemeForest, it’s just not worth it for some plugin developers who don’t need the traffic. We get enough business from referrals, the Google News team and organic traffic without needing to give them half of our sales.
Not sure why we didn’t get a support request through the website, but if your license is still valid and want us to get the premium version going flawlessly on the site, then contact me directly and we will get it done.
On this free version, keep an eye out for the update notice and hopefully it will be up soon.
All the best!

In reply to: [Google News Editors Picks Feed Generator] Conflict with EasyAzon 4.0I responded to you in an email. Just do me a favor and stick to one thread. We are leaving this one open until the new update of the free version comes out. This is just the Editors’ Picks version on the WP.org directory.
The other version does much more and is supported on that site.

In reply to: [Google News Editors Picks Feed Generator] Conflict with EasyAzon 4.0Could you be a bit more specific regarding what happens? We will be updating this plugin to more closely reflect the premium version and if that clears up the issue, please let me know. I’ll keep this thread open until the update gets pushed out.

In reply to: [Google News Editors Picks Feed Generator] WPML Compatible ?Hi Freeze78,
Sorry about the late response; a really late response. I cannot seem to get this to email me when there is a thread.
It was tested about 9 months ago for WPML and was. However, we don’t know what they’ve done since so let us know if you have any issues and we will work those incompatibilities out.

In reply to: [Adblade Publisher Tools] Firing on Tooltip Shortcodes with longstring IDYup, you’re right. That looks pretty simple. You sure can if you email me at [email protected]. Perhaps it’s a caching issue?

In reply to: [Adblade Publisher Tools] Firing on Tooltip Shortcodes with longstring IDI don’t have a screenshot because I can’t leave the article looking like that.
But no, the problem is that the ads are being called by a totally irrelevant shortcode.
For instance, the following shortcode (which creates the tooltips seen in the article I linked,):
[content_tooltip id=”38038″ title=”Quinnipiac University (Q-Poll)”]
the ads will appear immediately after the shortcode and break up the paragraph. Then, the paragraph continues afters the Adblade tag content.

In reply to: [MyBookTable Bookstore by Stormhill Media] Book cover images not showingJust to let you know, I am having the same issue with this and Pro. Will try the test version now.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'status' of undefinedThis issue appears to be fixed now. And I’m good with you marking it as resolved.
I hope you have subscribed to this and get to try it again after you receive the message. And I hope it works out.
@… Previous WordPress moderator who took a snarky tone with me on someone else’s thread a few weeks ago. I was under the impression that this was a “community” forum where people interact with each other and post when they have similar concerns and problems. I was also under the impression that moderators were independent, not cheerleaders for particular plugin authors/companies.
I simply made a suggestion in a manner that was not at all combative, and was obviously NOT alone in having updating issues and concerns. I was polite and, as a developer, thorough in my error/bug reporting in an attempt to be helpful.
This, and the other issue, are apparently fixed now, so good came of it after all.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] "Your homepage cannot be indexed by search engines" scam?I am beginning to get the same feeling myself. There should be an immediate fix considering the number of threads on the topic, or at least a sticky post.
I, too, am hoping your post will garner a response because, despite laying out multiple details to the error, I didn’t get one.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Please! Other update to fix all erros to many sitesThus far, I have provided the most information for exactly which file is causing the issue, but have yet to hear anything back. Refreshing a page will not bring back the post editor with a javascript error in the Developer Tools console.
Looking at the code, I think they got to big for their pants.
