I have now tried a couple more things without resolution:
– renamed my theme folder to force default theme via ftp
– renamed .htaccess file

Neither worked to get me to /wp-login.php

Not that I am aware of. Alright, I might have a lead. This theme did not have native menus, so I think I created a custom menu widget and added the category links to the sidebar that way. And then in an update to WordPress or in a change of the permalinks they became inaccessible in the dashboard.

Is there a simply way of simply recreating new pages with the same content?

No problem. I did switch to the default theme and try that option. When I do that, the “archive or category page” is not accessible at all. When I switch back, it is available again.

Does that indicate anything to you?

The theme is Unisphere Corporate from ThemeForest. I created this site using the theme.

Not sure if you are still around, but I spent the last week working with the theme designer and even gave him admin rights. He could not figure out the issue and thinks it is a “permalink/web server issue.” Any guidance how I would resolve an issue there? Thanks!

There is “1” post. When I click on the “1” it takes me to this page: https://www.peplending.com/frequently-asked-questions-2/ ?instead of the post that actually has my content.

Yes, I do. When I click on it, I then see the page with “Edit Category” at the top.

Name is “FAQ’s”
slug is “frequently-asked-questions-martial-arts”
Parent is “Martial Arts Studio Owners”

Thanks for the help. I logged into the dashboard, but did not see “edit category” at the top of the page. I also navigated to live site and never saw “edit category” either.

No, which is frustrating. It simply has options for “thumbnail, medium, large, full-size.” I need something between medium and large and would like to specify precise dimensions.

Is there a way to track down the “one file changed?” When I have been hacked, the username and password for the admin account is changed too.

I have now and it looks like there are several things I should start doing. Is there any way to tell what my vulnerability has been or am I going to have to delete everything and start over again from the backup and then secure the site more aggressively? Thanks for your help.
