Hi, thanks for contacting us. This extension is very common and is usually installed and activated by default, if not (like in you case), you should ask you hosting to enable it for you. We need this function to determine the exact content of a file that users would upload as receipt to prevent any hack or data lost.

We have an option for that! you can set which gateways you want to have upload receipt.

The logic behind this plugin is that admins set upload receipt for some of payment gateways they have on their WooCommerce, (you can show receipt upload form for selected gateways only), then after purchasing order status changes from pending to awaiting receipt upload, of course if order is marked canceled or completed, the upload form would not be shown.

We have made a test order and uploaded the receipt.
The thing is, Receipt uploads Successfully and Completely but the reason you get error is because of these error lines:

You can check it out yourself, just open your browser’s console and find Network Tab, then select your receipt and hit Upload, see the result of the Request, you’ll see this error.

The solution could be turning off your error display.

And because you are using wp.com CDN, disable Secure Link from Upload Receipt Plugin Setting.

This Error is due to Server, you should check your hosting and folder chmod and also turn on debug mode to see what is causing this error.

We will consider your offer but before that, you can disable directory indexing on your wp-content folder to disallow finding other receipts.
