Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Login Image Squashed after UpdateHi,
same to me. Who can solve the issue? The click on the logo does not load the index page in combination with Buddypress. In Firefox browsers the logo seems to be ok like before the upgrade to WP 3.4 – the issue is with Chrome and Safari Browsers.
The second issue I have is the URL on top left on login page.
Thanks for your answer. I contacted the author of FB plugin and I sent him a debug file. So now I’ve to wait for his response. Thank you.
Thanks for your hint. I did this. Sorry for the trouble.
Yes you’re right. But my problem is that the shared server (godaddy) does not accept external mail server. I tried this. Any ideas to get around?
Ok now it works again. It seems you solved the issue – great.
But I’ve another issue. In conjunction with plugin ‘WP Better Emails’ v0.2.4 your Newsletter is shown as HTML in the HTML Form of the plugin when I send it to a subscriber. This no good idea. Is there any chance that this won’t happen?
WP better Email is nice because each normal text Email will get a good looking HTML form.

In reply to: [WP SMTP Config] [Plugin: WP SMTP Config] Bug in SMTP Port ChangeThanks for the bug, but the plugin does not work for me.
I try to send emails over my Google account but it is not possible. Any ideas for me?
Ok now I clicked a different button, here the links and I see the right icons are set.
Ok, sorry!
Yes I’ll do this!
> Do you know how to use your browser’s Javascript console?
Sorry, I don’t know this.
For the moment I switched to the BB Group Email plugin. This works stable without any errors, see https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/buddypress-group-email/
But your plugin has the possibility of subscriptions. Hope this works soon.
Thank you,
ThorstenHi imath,
ok I’ll try this. Thanks for your fast response.
Bye,
ThorstenI deactivated the plugin because of the reason I mentioned above. At the moment I cannot switch to the bb default theme. Do think it’s an issue with Buddyboss theme?
Solved the issue by myself.
The text in the subject line was too long. I don’t know the number of characters but I did it very short now and it works fine.
@marcus
For me it’s working fine. Today I’ve got the hint by WordPress a new version of Event Manager has released but I didn’t tested. I do this later.
