In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Fatal error after updating to version 0.13.2Take your plugin version 0.13.1 for overwriting and everything will be fine again. I did this.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache, AWS Cloudfront & InvalidationsWhat I did to prevent AWS Cloudfront Invalidations is to check under “Performance > CDN > section CDN + CDN Enable”
I made this screenshot for you https://www.screencast.com/t/cYohS2awhS5k
I hope this helps!
Thank you!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache, AWS Cloudfront & InvalidationsHello @vmarko
Thank you for answering but this makes no sense if I upload an image for a post the first time. So the case you describe won’t take effect. This makes sense if I want to delete an image or when updating an image. So it is the second step before the first.
For my opinion there should be a hint or an entry for this if a user wants to handle this that way. It seems tricky for clueless users to come into a situation like this when using Amazon AWS.
Please think about, if it is a good idea to treat customers/users this way. Thank you for your understanding.
Regards.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache, AWS Cloudfront & InvalidationsHi @vmarko
Thank you. That says it deletes one or more files in case you want to remove it earlier than the time stamp says, right?
If so, who sets the time stamp for a deletion? Does it come from the W3 entries?
But when I upload an image for a post I want to publish, why does your plugin send anything to AWS, what leads to an “Invalidation”? That is what I do not understand. There was no action from my side to do this.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache, AWS Cloudfront & InvalidationsThank you for your detailed explanation. It seems I’m using “Origin Pull” only because I do not have any hint of “Export changed files automatically”.
When activated “Only purge CDN manually” and using W3 button in backend “Purge All Caches”, does this say I have to pay for Invalidations that time?
Amazon AWS has an interesting way to gain money.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache, AWS Cloudfront & InvalidationsHi @vmarko
Thank you for your reply.
I activated “Only purge CDN manually” under Performance > CDN now. Thanks.
Unfortunately I cannot find “Export changed files automatically”. Where is this located?Regards ??
Hi @buttonizer,
Thank you very much for going into the details of setting cookies by your plugin. If the basic cookie is set to “functional”, than I’m going to inform the team of the Complianz plugin because their cookiedatabase.org do not know till yet what your plugin really does.
The issue we have with the case-law above is, that the German authority has a more strict interpretation of the GDPR. I already discussed this with Complianz. I’m not happy with it but it seems Germany follows the European rights more by local legislative power.
To protect privacy rights will be very very important in the near future, and if you keep an eye on the German market you should be aware of this. For this I collaborate with authorized developers, e.g. Complianz, to get the best for German customers.
Thank you for taking time to get into the details!
Best regards,
ThorstenPS: And you’re right with the European website and their cookie setting. In German exists a latin saying and I’m sure you know it too: Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi. That’s why they have obviously more rights ??

In reply to: [WPAdmin AWS CDN] Theme Icons – Load CSS From CDNHi @luckychingi !
Same issue for me. I use your plugin with W3 Total Cache and Amazon CloudFront.
As your FAQ says I entered to .htaccess file:
# Plugin Amazon AWS CDN <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|woff|woff2|font.css)$"> <IfModule mod_headers.c> Header add Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*" </IfModule> </FilesMatch> # END Plugin Amazon AWS CDN
But fonts icons of theme AVADA and plugin SlicedInvoices disappeared for example. I followed your url above but don’t know to which css file I should enter:
AddType font/ttf ttf AddType font/otf otf AddType font/woff woff AddType font/woff2 woff2 AddType application/vnd.ms-fontobject eot
I can set CORS with plugin W3 Total Cache if I use their premium version with full website CDN, but for this case I don’t need your plugin. I use the free version of W3 Total Cache in combination with yours.
Everything works fine if I use plugin CDN Enabler from keyCDN. I attached two screenshots as follows to show the difference:
a) https://www.screencast.com/t/VHw98PtBS
b) https://www.screencast.com/t/YHlSf0azIphLIt seems a bit tricky! I appreciate any help of your great plugin.
